Warner Center MarriottFlagship
Recently renovated with indoor and outdoor pools, steps from Westfield Topanga.
Everything you need for a smooth trip to the west side of the San Fernando Valley — arrival to golden hour.
Getting here & around
The 101 and 118 freeways bracket the West Valley; Topanga Canyon Blvd (27) runs between them. From LAX or Burbank: 30–50 minutes outside rush hour.
The Metro G Line (Orange) busway crosses the Valley with stops at Canoga, Warner Center (via connector), Reseda and Chatsworth — where Metrolink and Amtrak also stop.
Hollywood Burbank (BUR) is the easy option at ~25 minutes. LAX offers the most connections; Van Nuys serves private aviation right next door.
The Orange Line bike path parallels the busway for miles of flat, car-free riding — and connects to the LA River path.
Where to stay
Full-service hotels cluster around Warner Center — walkable to Westfield Topanga, The Village and (in winter) the ice rink. Boutique motor lodges and extended-stay options line Ventura Boulevard and Topanga Canyon Blvd.
Pro tip: ask for a west-facing room. The sunsets do not miss.

Before you go
Any time — that's the point of 285 sunny days. Spring brings green hills and roses; summer means concerts; November through January adds the ice rink and holiday lights. Summer afternoons run hot (95°F+); plan outdoor time for mornings and evenings.
A car is easiest, but the Metro G Line busway + rideshare covers Warner Center, Canoga Park, Reseda and Chatsworth well. Chatsworth's Metrolink/Amtrak station links directly to Union Station and Ventura County.
Hollywood is ~35 minutes over the hill; Malibu ~40 minutes through the canyons; Downtown ~45. The West Valley makes a calm, affordable base for seeing the whole region.
Extremely. Parks, the rink, the farmers market, kid-approved food halls and wide sidewalks. Strollers welcome basically everywhere.
Contact the Bureau and we'll mail one, or pick one up at partner hotels and the Saturday farmers market info booth.
Swan boats and lawns at Lake Balboa, bowling in Winnetka and Tarzana, escape rooms in Reseda and Northridge, climbing at Boulderdash — see the full family fun guide.
Summer concerts, both state historic parks, the CSUN Botanic Garden, cherry blossoms at Lake Balboa, every trail in our green guide, and all farmers markets.
Garden of the Gods at golden hour, Top of Topanga Overlook, the cherry-blossom path in spring, and the ice rink under the lights in December.
Topanga Social at Westfield Topanga is anchored by Jinya Ramen Bar and Wanderlust Creamery, with more vendors arriving — and the dining guide covers 50+ standalone spots.
Movie history (thousands of Westerns), LA's best delis, the birthplace of Vegenaise — and soon the permanent home of the LA Rams.
