Sunset palms over the San Fernando Valley

Who we are

A privately funded nonprofit promoting events, tourism & economic vitality across the West Valley.

Our mission

Champions of the west side of the Valley.

From Warner Center to Chatsworth, the west San Fernando Valley is home to more than 400,000 neighbors, thousands of businesses, and a calendar that never sits still. The West Valley Visitors Bureau tells that story — producing signature events, promoting our main streets, and welcoming visitors to thirteen remarkable communities.

We are funded by members and sponsors, not tax dollars — which means every partnership directly fuels community programming like free skate nights, concert Sundays and market mornings.

What we do

Three jobs, done with heart

Produce signature events

Ice at Canoga Park, concert Sundays and market mornings — the gatherings that define a West Valley year.

Promote the destination

Guides, campaigns and this very website — putting our neighborhoods on every LA itinerary.

Strengthen local business

Membership, co-op marketing and advocacy that keep main-street doors open and lights on.

Leadership

Board & team

A community-led board

Our directors are West Valley business owners, venue operators and neighborhood leaders who volunteer their time. Board seats rotate with our membership cycle — introduce yourself if you'd like to serve.

A small, mighty staff

A lean events-and-marketing team, headquartered in Canoga Park, backed by seasonal crews and a volunteer corps that shows up rain or (usually) shine.
